Admission Requirements

London Laser Training is a centre for professional development and continuing education. Students are required to have the appropriate background in their chosen field. Our goal is to add specific skills in the area of laser.

Health and Wellness

At London Laser Training we believe that anyone practicing laser therapy for pain management must have a background in the healthcare profession especially in anatomy and physiology. Students must have previous formal training in anatomy and physiology, and medical terminology and be either working or currently training to be a recognized healthcare professional. This includes doctors, dentists, nurses, chiropractors, naturopaths, physiotherapists, registered massage therapists, nutritionists and other related healthcare workers. Those who do not meet these admission requirements may still be admitted to the program at the discretion of the clinic director.

Our smoking cessation and substance abuse courses include a strong component on addiction. When dealing with these life threatening diseases it is not enough to simply treat the physical withdrawal. A background in counseling or psychology would be an advantage.

Skin and Beauty

Our programs in the cosmetic categories are designed for Aestheticians, trained skin care providers, medical professionals and spa owners who are looking at adding services or receiving additional training on those they already offer. The anatomy and physiology of the skin and hair will be thoroughly discussed but it is only included as reference and background.

Tattoo Removal

At London Laser Training our mission is to set the highest standard in laser tattoo removal education. We offer a comprehensive course for physicians and their medical staff along with estheticians and tattoo artists to ensure advanced training necessary to enter the laser industry or for any individual with a passion for lasers to use this as a stepping-stone for a new career in tattoo removal.
