Laser Hair Removal Certification is a training course that contains theory classes and a hands-on session to combine the practical and clinical aspects of laser hair removal procedures. Participants will apply protocols and treatment strategies to successfully integrate them into their professional practice.
We are open to enrol licensed health care professionals, clinic/spa owners and aesthetic professionals into short-term courses that will enhance the knowledge of our students with the latest technology in Laser Hair Removal.
In this laser hair reduction training course, students will learn everything they need to know about the skills and techniques to perform laser hair reduction. Our laser hair reduction training course includes classroom education that prepares students in the fundamentals of laser and IPL education.
This course also provides clinical observations and treatments with laser hair reduction. Treatments are performed on live models in a retail med spa. We utilize laser and Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) technology.
Course Format
Our comprehensive laser courses include content-rich classroom didactics and highly detailed demonstrations. Attend your classroom session via LIVE Zoom online from the comfort of your own home. Course schedules are designed to fit your schedule and learning rate. Unlike most classroom settings our courses are one on one or one on two. We find that we can provide more in-depth knowledge with a personalized course.
Following the didactic portion of the course students are invited into the clinic to gain hands on practical experience.
Classroom (Didactic) Education
Our classroom curriculum is designed to give students an in-depth knowledge of skin care mechanics in addition to comprehensive laser training education. We train our students in the basic fundamentals of how lasers work, describe the clinical applications in the industry, and promote an understanding of laser safety. This course meets all LSO training requirements outlined by the ANSI Z136.1 Safe Use of Lasers standard. Students will leave with a thorough knowledge of cosmetic lasers and the education needed to be successful in this industry.
Building off of laser basics at the beginning of our course, students will be taught the fundamentals of laser physics, the importance of the Fitzpatrick scale (classifying skin typing) and will be able to explain the clinical applications of lasers and IPL in the field of hair removal.
Hands On Training
In order to gain the comfort and familiarity that comes with firing cosmetic lasers, London Laser Training Institute believes all students should receive hands-on training with scheduled clients. This type of clinical practice provides a real-world type of environment so students can gain the confidence and skills they need to provide these treatments to their future clients.

Your tuition includes a course manual that consists of written reference materials, protocols and examples of history, consent and policy forms.
Certification
There is an exam at the end of the course successful completion of which is required in order to gain a certificate of achievement.
London Laser Training offers Hair Removal Laser certifications to those that complete the hair removal laser training course.
Upon completion of training, each London Laser Training client will receive three certifications acknowledging their newfound background in laser training and gain authorization to perform laser hair removal procedures with IPL, Diode and Q-switched lasers.

All clients will be trained using state of the art lasers that are professional-grade.
Advanced Laser Hair Removal Certification
As a London Laser Training client, you will also receive a certificate recognizing your experience providing permanent hair reduction treatments with IPL, Q-switched and Diode lasers.
The lasers that you will be trained to use are:
- Q-switched Nd:YAG laser
- Alexandrite
- Diode Laser
You will also be trained in IPL wavelengths:
- 430 – 1200 nm
Certification in these laser wavelengths will allow patients to recognize that you have assessed real patient issues, know how to determine the best laser setting to use when treating, and have personally performed treatments under the supervision of laser training professionals.
